NOW IS THE TIME!

Now is the Time!

When you wake up from the long dream of life and realize that

Now is the Time!

When the doctors tell you that you may not be able to win the battle against your illness.

Now is the Time!

When you look at your life and realize that you have so much to accomplish

Now is the Time!

When you look around you and see that you gave up your dreams to follow the utopia of those who were afraid to dream like you.

Now is the Time!

When you reflect on how you have become a rootless tree in your own body and forgotten that you have a voice and the right to say no to those who wanted you to be a footnote of history.

Now is the Time!

When you are tempted to hate as did the ones that took away your joy from you.

Now is the Time!

When you seek to move on with life and are afraid to choose a road to follow at the crossroads of life because you have been convinced that your candle of life is about to be extinguished.

Now is the Time!

Now is the time for new beginnings.

Now is the time to let go of the dying you and to step into the resurrection faith where your new self awaits you.

Now is the time for laughter.

Now is the time for you to see the humor in your life and in all the bullshit that you tolerated for the sake of belonging.

Now is the time to start loving to say NO!

Now is the time to close those doors where you allowed your cancer to come into your life.

Now is the time for you to know yourself.

Now is the only way you become alive as a creature of the present.

In the nowness of time, you become divine if only you allow yourself to remain in the NOW.

God beckons on you like a true friend does and says to you: Remain with me in the now.

Will you have the courage to say yes to the invitation?

Now is the time for radical healing.

If you embrace your now, your life will transcend time. Is that not how to become an immortal being?

Now is the time for you to claim your nowness.

In the nowness of time, I say to you: You shall not die!

More memories of life are yet to be made.

Now! Now!! Now!!! is the Time! Time!! Time!!!

Note: I dedicate this poem to a friend of mine who is currently struggling with cancer and who thinks that their life has no more meaning. If only they knew how meaningful their life is and how they inspire us throughout the many years we called each other friends.
